What am i?

I get the message, I really do, and I know it's well-intentioned, but still this kind of sexuality blindness (and racial colour blindness) doesn't really feel like the right way for me. No matter what people want to believe, we do not live in a post-racial and post-sexuality world, and these kinds of egalitarian messages are easy to preach for the privileged people. At the end of the day they still have it easier than us queer folks. Sexuality is a big part of everyone's lives, and we just can't erase it in favour of "but we all bleed red!" messages. If we ignore a problem it won't go away. That's why we need these labels, we need to talk about he fact that we're not the same, that everyone is different and that's okay.
